I use MANY methods of marketing my listings because more exposure means more potential buyers! I utilize the "Focus on Homes" television program which airs on Fox at 9:30 am on Sundays; the Focus on Homes magazine; the Rockford Register Star; Realtor.com enhanced service; the "talking house" subscription which allows buyers to call a toll free number 24 hours a day to get information on my listings, and by sending my listings via email to agents who subscribe to our Rockford MLS service. All of my listings are also placed on this website and into real estate magazines throughout the Rockford and Chicagoland area. Open houses have been successful for me as well and I encourage my sellers to allow their homes to be opened every other Sunday from 2 - 4. The bottom line is that I realize that I have to work to get their house sold, not just sign them up, put them on the MLS and wait for the phone to ring. I am a full-time agent and use every resource available to me to ensure the sale. I also keep in contact with my sellers rather than leave them in the dark wondering what's going on.
